The Accounting for Nature® Environmental Account Registry lists organisations that have committed to measuring changes in the condition of environmental assets by applying our rigorous, science-based environmental accounting standard.

To achieve certification and the right to use the associated Trustmark from Accounting for Nature users must adhere to the Accounting for Nature® Standard and follow Asset specific Methods for calculating the condition of different environmental assets.

Users have their Environmental Accounts verified by following Accounting for Nature’s Audit & Verification Rules.

  • Users who have registered their accounts with us and intend to develop an Environmental Account for certification under our Standard. Search Registered Accounts.

  • Users who have had their Environmental Accounts certified by us under the Standard. Search Certified Accounts.

  • Users who have had a certified account but have not continued with meeting the certification requirements for an active account and now hold an expired account. Search Expired Accounts.

We are all about transparency to ensure integrity in environmental claims can be made by users. Using our Certification QR codes is one way to check a users claims or simply search our Certification database to learn more about a registered user or Certified Environmental Account.

Certified Accounts verify information against the Standard. as a Certified - Independent Audit or Certified - AfN Verified Account.

Registered Accounts are undergoing development, prior to Certification.
