The Accounting for Nature® Environmental Account Registry features organisations and individuals that have committed to measuring the state of nature for environmental assets using our rigorous, science-based environmental accounting standard.

Who is included?

View the Environmental Account Registry to search for organisations involved in our certification program.

Accounts can be classified as Registered, Certified or Discontinued.

To achieve certification and the right to use the associated Trustmark from Accounting for Nature users must adhere to the Accounting for Nature® Standard and follow asset specific Accredited Methods for calculating the state of nature of different environmental assets.

Users have their Certified Environmental Accounts verified against the Standard as either a Certified - Independent Audit or Certified - AfN Verified Account following Accounting for Nature’s Audit & Verification Rules.

  • Users who have registered their accounts with us and intend to develop an Environmental Account for certification under our Standard. Search Registered Accounts.

  • Users who have had their Environmental Accounts certified by us under the Standard. Search Certified Accounts.

  • Users who have Environmental Accounts grouped via a Portfolio management. This includes their Registered and Certified Accounts. Search Portfolio Accounts.

  • Users with a Registered or Certified Account whose status has been discontinued voluntarily or due to non-compliance. Search Discontinued Accounts.

We are all about transparency to ensure integrity in environmental claims can be made by users. Using our Certification QR codes is one way to check a users claims or simply search our online Environmental Account Registry to learn more about a Registered, Certified or Discontinued Environmental Account.
