This may include, amongst other things, contact information, job title and other relevant information pertaining to the expert or auditor.

3.1. How we collect personal information about you will depend on our relationship or interactions with you. Accounting for Nature Ltd collects personal information from you in a variety of ways, including when you interact with us electronically or in person, when you access our website and when we provide our services to you or to a project proponent you are associated with. We may 2 receive personal information from third parties, including when a project proponent, expert or auditor provides it to us. We receive a range of materials from project proponents, experts and auditors (including in connection with projects), which could include personal information. If we receive personal information from a third party (including a project proponent, expert or auditor), we will protect it as set out in this Privacy Policy.

We mainly collect information directly from you; for example, when you use our website or social media, you call or write to us, we interact with you in person, such as when you use our products and services or participate in training and workshops.

There may be occasions when we collect information about you from someone else, such as:

  • Partners participating in our training or workshop programs 

  • Experts and auditors, including when you make an inquiry but do not complete a registration 

  • When someone else is engaged to deliver services on your behalf in relation to our services

If we do so, we may use that information: • for purposes connected to the project proponent's project, including without limitation for the purposes of managing our relationship with the project proponent, contacting the project proponent, reviewing and considering relevant information in connection with the project, registering and certifying the project, publishing details regarding the project and project proponent on our environmental account registry and related purposes; • for the purposes of research undertaken by or on behalf of AfN, for commercial purposes, for promotional purposes or for public purposes, provided that if we use your personal information for such purposes, we will not publish or disclose any of your personal information for such research, commercial, promotional or public purposes.

4.3. We may also collect personal information from experts or auditors in order for us to consider and manage accreditation of such experts and inclusion on our register of accredited experts and auditors and related purposes.
