To ensure the Accounting for Nature® Framework incorporates the latest scientific and technical developments, we work with Technical Advisors comprising several world-leading experts in their fields. We engage Technical Advisors as needed to advise on key areas of environmental science, law, finance, climate change and indigenous knowledge.

Ilona Millar

Ilona Millar

has worked for the last 20 years on climate law and finance, including the development of law and policy and its implementation by both governments and the private sector.

Prof Martine Maron

is Professor of Environmental Management at The University of Queensland. Her group works on the challenge of building effective policy and management for conservation, especially in contested landscapes.

Nadia Campbell

is a former board member of Accounting for Nature and is the Director of Goondicum Pastoral Co. She has worked as a lawyer in private practice, for government owned corporations and as in-house legal counsel for the Commonwealth Bank of Australia. She is also a Director of the Pacific Whale Foundation (Aust); a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and an active member of Australian Animal Care & Education Inc. where she undertakes continual education on Australian Wildlife. Nadia holds a Bachelor of Law (Hons) and a Bachelor of Commerce.

Martine Maron

Yanyu Li

is a nature finance and policy specialist with expertise in environmental markets, sustainable finance, and biodiversity crediting. She has contributed to multi-stakeholder initiatives such as the Biodiversity Credit Alliance (BCA) and the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD) with a range of international organizations, including the United Nations Development Programme, the UN Environment Programme Finance Initiative, and Wildlife Conservation Society.  Yanyu holds a Master’s in Climate and Society from Columbia University and is actively engaged in developing tools and guidance to accelerate credible nature-positive investments across public and private sectors.
