Peter Harper PSM
CHAIR
Peter is the former Deputy Australian Statistician at the Australian Bureau of Statistics where he was responsible for the Bureau’s environmental statistics program. Peter has extensive international experience in environmental-economic accounting, including as Chair of the UN’s Committee of Experts on Environmental-Economic Accounting. He has a degree in Economics.

Catherine Bremner
Catherine is a Principal Director in Partners in Performance, part of Accenture in their Energy Transition Practice. Outside of Accenture, Catherine is on the Board and RemComm Chair of the Met Office, Board of Energy Systems Catapult and Co-chair of Adaptation Working Group of the Climate Change Risk Forum. With over 25 years of experience in sustainable development, finance, strategy and change management, she is also a highly respected leader in green finance.
Previously she was Chief Strategy Officer at Impax responsible for line managing Impax’s risk and compliance functions and coordinating the build-out of Impax’s digital strategy, inclusive of data architecture and AI capability. Before joining Impax in 2021, Catherine spent five years at the UK Government’s Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy, including acting as Director General, responsible for around 500 staff tasked with developing the UK’s Net Zero Strategy and International Climate and Energy policy. She also chaired the UK Government’s Climate and Energy G7 Presidency in 2022. Before this, she was Global Head of Environmental Sustainability at Australian financial services firm ANZ. She was also Chief Operating Officer at Low Carbon Australia and Head of International Development at the Carbon Trust.

Peter Cosier AM
Peter is a Founding Member of the Wentworth Group of Concerned Scientists, and a Director of the Tasmanian Land Conservancy. Peter was Policy Adviser to the Australian Environment Minister Robert Hill AC and was Deputy Director General for Science and Information in the NSW Government. He has a degree in Science and a Postgraduate Diploma in Urban and Regional Planning. In 2017, he received a University of New England Distinguished Alumni Award.

Cullen Gunn
Cullen is the Executive Director and CEO of Kilter Rural. He has been overseeing its $400 million investment portfolio from the initial seed investment back in 2006. Since the early 1990’s Cullen has dedicated his working life to advancing sustainable farmland, water and ecosystem management in Australia. He holds a Bachelor of Applied Science and a Postgraduate Diploma (Land Rehabilitation).

Dr Ken Henry AC
Ken is a former Chair of the National Australia Bank and the Sir Roland Wilson Foundation at the Australian National University (ANU). He is a former non-executive director of the Australian Securities Exchange and Cape York Partnership. Ken spent 28 years in senior policy advising roles in the Australian government, including 10 years as Australian Treasury Secretary from 2001 to 2011. He is a Fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences Australia (ASSA), the Australia New Zealand School of Government (ANZSOG) and the Australian Institute of International Affairs (AIIA).

Max Kitchell
Max has an Agricultural Science degree, is Chair of the Southern Blue Fin Tuna Management Advisory Committee and of the Small Pelagic Fisheries Scientific Panel, and Member of the Tasmanian Planning Appeals Tribunal. Max was previously Director of the National Oceans Office and Tasmanian Parks & Wildlife Service, Chair of NRM Regions Australia and board member of Greening Australia.

Radha Kuppalli
Radha is Managing Director of Impact and Advocacy at New Forests. She has more than 20 years of experience in real assets investment management, forestry, carbon and biodiversity markets, and conservation finance. Her career has been focused on driving capital allocation towards climate solutions and sustainable development. She is also a Non-Executive Director of Greening Australia and Timberlink Australia and is an Advisory Board member to the Yale University Center for Business and Environment.

Lynette Mayne AM
Lynette has a proven commercial track record as a CEO, Chair and Director, and is a successful entrepreneur who has established and run globally competitive businesses. She is Co-Chair of Richard Branson’s B Team Australasia; a Non-Executive Director of the Australian Infrastructure Financing Facility for the Pacific; and was formerly CEO of both Lendlease’s IT&T Investments Division and its Corporate Financial Services Division.

John E. Scanlon AO
John is a seasoned leader in the fields of environment and sustainable development governance, law, and policy, with a unique range of experience gained across multiple continents, disciplines and organisations. He has served in senior positions in the private sector, with government, international organisations, the UN, and not-for-profit organizations, and as chair or member of many boards. After starting out in private legal practice, John held senior roles with the Department of Environment, Heritage and Aboriginal Affairs (Adelaide), Environment Protection Authority (Sydney), Murray Darling Basin Commission (Canberra), World Commission on Dams (Cape Town), International Union for the Conservation of Nature (Bonn), UN Environment Programme (Nairobi), and the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (Geneva), where he served as Secretary-General from 2010-2018. John’s current roles include serving as CEO of the Elephant Protection Initiative Foundation, Chair of the UK Government Illegal Wildlife Trade Challenge Fund, Chair of the Global Initiative to End Wildlife Crime, Trustee with the Royal Botanical Gardens Kew, Commissioner on the Lancet Commission on Preventing Pandemics, Executive President of the International Council of Environmental Law, and President of Scanlon Advisory LLC. In 2019, John was awarded the prestigious Officer of the Order of Australia (AO) for distinguished service to wildlife conservation and protection through roles with international organizations, in 2023 he was awarded the distinguished Chinese Government Friendship Award and the Adelaide University Distinguished Alumni Award.
