Significant outcomes.

The overall Econd® score for the project was estimated at 35.6. Indicator condition scores were generally high for non-native plant cover, suggesting effective control of invasive species across the landscape. However, the greatest opportunities for improvement lie in indicators such as recruitment, large tree presence, and the basal area of trees and shrubs—patterns that align with expectations for regrowth vegetation. These findings highlight key focus areas for future ecological management aimed at supporting structural complexity and long-term ecosystem recovery.

Limitations & disclosures.

Scope - This is a project scale (18% of the property) assessment based on a targeted assessment of native vegetation condition.

Stratification - Broad vegetation groups were delineated directly from the mapping product and were not ground-truthed, validated or modified.

Reference Benchmarks - Refined Basal Area reference benchmarks are not available in the published Regional Ecosystem Technical Descriptions. To address this limitation, we consulted experts at Queensland Herbarium and Biodiversity Science who generously provided basal area benchmarks delineated by stratum, either as personal communication, or more recently through draft updated Technical Descriptions. The draft Technical Descriptions are still under development, and as such may be subject to change. GreenCollar will review updated information in the published Technical Descriptions as it becomes available and incorporate into reference benchmarks used in the preparation of subsequent asset accounts for this account.
