About the account.
Boorabee Farm Biodiversity Restoration Project will sequester carbon and restore habitat for threatened species including the endangered koala, glossy-black cockatoo, the spotted-tailed quoll and several threatened plant species. Two areas will be fenced and revegetated with native species including koala food and habitat trees on 10 ha. The project area has previously been used for banana cropping and grazing and reforesting the land will contribute to an important vegetation corridor which connects to the Gondwana Rainforests of Australia World Heritage Areas on the surrounding NSW Border Ranges.

About the Account Holder.
The Account Holder is the landholder of the property. The landholder is managing the property as for mixed use for living, cattle and conservation purposes simultaneously. Past clearing and agricultural land use is being discontinued in two locations (labelled east and west), which are being revegetated. This revegetation will be registered for Australian Carbon Credit unit trading. The aim for the account is to document the shift in Koala Econd® as restoration progresses.
