Kobi Schooley ATF The Grass Tree Trust has registered Rocky Springs Regeneration Project and is currently in the process of developing an Environmental Account to submit for certification.

About the account.

The Rocky Springs Cattle co project is co-located with a reforestation project along the southern boundary of the Rocky Springs property, within a large area currently cleared for grazing but positioned adjacent to remnant vegetation. The project aims to restore biodiversity across this landscape and, where appropriate schemes are available, to support the future linking of ACCUs generated by the reforestation project with measured biodiversity improvements captured through the Environmental Account.

The Rocky Springs team has always been on the forefront of sustainable agriculture. The opportunity to create high integrity carbon credit units linked to genuine biodiversity regeneration fits perfectly with the team's methodology. Moreover, the ability to create change that co exists amongst a commercial beef operation producing protein for the community nationally and internationally bolsters the sustainable nature of the account and the Rocky Springs operation more generally.
