About the account.
Bramfield station is a grazing property located on Wirangu Nauo country in South Australia’s Eyre Peninsula. This environmental restoration project aims to increase the representation of native ecological vegetation communities within a cleared landscape, enhancing habitat and connectivity for local native species. Greening Australia plan to restore approximately 394 ha of critically endangered Drooping Sheoak Grassy Woodland. The project’s location, configuration, and targeted restoration areas enable the design of a monitoring program capable of detecting changes in vegetation community composition and quality over time, relative to pre-project baselines. A condition score (Econd®) will be calculated using the survey and analysis techniques outlined in the Bush Heritage Native Vegetation Method (V-07).
This planting forms part of the Nestlé Global Reforestation Program, which has established more than three million trees across Australia through a partnership between Nestlé, Greening Australia, Canopy, and One Tree Planted.
